The days are getting cooler and the nights are definitely getting more crisp. Stay warm with a mug of this delicious Creamy Caramel Apple Cider.
Have you ever had Starbucks’ caramel apple cider? Well, this recipe kind of reminds me of that, with the exception of the price, of course.
You can make this yummy drink in the comfort of your own home and enjoy sipping mug after mug and pay a fraction of the price.
You can also save a little bit of money by making and using my homemade Brown Sugar Caramel Sauce in this recipe. It’s so easy to make and tastes way better than store bought caramel sauce.
Also, make sure you’re buying a good quality apple cider, not apple juice! Apple cider is going to have all those warm mulling spices in it that make it a cider. Apple juice just doesn’t have that bold, warm flavor we’re looking for in this recipe, so just be aware of that difference.
Need a bigger batch of cider? No problem, this recipe is easy enough to double or even triple if you’re hosting a larger gathering or for holiday parties.
If you love this delicious cider, you’ll love our Crock-Pot Holiday Punch. This holiday punch is not only ridiculously easy to make but such a delicious comfort drink that’s perfect from autumn to winter. And, it makes enough for larger gatherings like holiday parties and festive events.

So yummy! My perfect fall drink.

Hello Marcie,
if I wanted to make this a boozy beverage what alcohol would you recommend I add? Rum, bourbon?
Marcie
Hello Megan,
I personally don’t drink but know that either rum or bourbon would work well with this drink. The rum would add a sweeter taste and the bourbon maybe a more richer taste. Maybe try a spiced rum? Or, what about fireball whiskey? I hope you’ll try our recipe out and let me know what you add to it! Take care and happy holidays!
