Raspberry Simple Syrup:
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. granulated sugar, or low carb sweetener like monk fruit
- 1 c. fresh or frozen raspberries
Limeade:
- 1 c. fresh lime juice
- 6 c. water
- fresh mint leaves for garnish, optional
- lime slices and fresh raspberries for garnish, optional
- Torani raspberry syrup, optional
Making Raspberry Simple Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add water, sugar, and raspberries and give it a stir.
Allow mixture to simmer while using a potato masher or back of large spoon and mash up raspberries. Make are sugar is completely dissolved.
Strain mixture over fine mesh strainer and press with back of a spoon to allow all liquid to be released. Allow to cool.
Making Raspberry Limeade:
In a large pitcher, pour in the simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and cold water and stir.
If it's too tart, you can add in a little more sugar. About 2 TBSP. at a time until desired taste is reached.
Optional: If you would like an even stronger raspberry flavor, you could add in 2-3 TBSP. of Torani raspberry syrup or a natural raspberry purée infused syrup.
